ABOUT MID PENN BLAZE

Mid Penn Blaze

Welcome

Now in our 11th year, Mid Penn Blaze has grown to cover the entire Central PA region. We've worked with players from 19 different school districts (Annville-Cleona, Carlisle, Bishop McDevitt, Cedar Crest, Central Dauphin, CD East, Chambersburg, Cumberland Valley, Danville, Elizabethtown, Hershey, Lower Dauphin, Mechanicsburg, New Oxford, Palmyra, Penn Manor, Red Land, Trinity, and Warwick), with teams ranging from 3rd grade to 11th grade.

Mid Penn Blaze provides a competitive local option for girls seeking to play lacrosse at a club level. We offer more training hours than any other club in central Pennsylvania. No mass tryouts, cuts, or collection of new players every July. Each player on one of our teams has the first opportunity to return next year. We invest in our players, the same way we ask you to invest in us. Our club has grown based on player referrals and word of mouth since 2016.

We understand that we're teaching more than a sport.  We try to make every player’s experience matter.  Every practice, every game, every drill. What happens on a team can impact a player well beyond childhood. It’s a responsibility that we take seriously.  All of us will stop playing someday.  When that happens, all you truly take with you is the experience. We want that experience to matter. We hope that teammates will remain friends long after their playing days are over.

Every coach is USA Lacrosse Certified.  We also work with the local high school and college coaches/players to train our players and coaches.  These schools include Juniata College, Lebanon Valley College, York College, Messiah University, IUP, Lock Haven University, Bucknell University, and Slippery Rock University.
